Managing People for Growth Programme

What's the programme about?

Our full day interactive workshops cover several areas that can develop the skills of your people managers.

You'll learn how to:

• Identify the skills and approaches a manager requires to perform their role successfully, both now and in the future
• Introduce fair and progressive work practices — the fair work framework and employee engagement measures, for example
• Understand the importance of maximising and improving existing staff skills, and analyse the style and attributes of an effective manager

What's the structure?

Over the course of the day-long workshop, our focus will fall on the important areas like:

• The role of a manager
• Empowering teams and individuals
• Communication, influencing and collaboration
• Coaching and delegation
• Managing individual performance
• Creating a culture of innovation

Cost

The total cost for each participant is £550 plus VAT.

This programme is subsidised by Scottish Enterprise. The price includes all sessions, support, and coaching per person – there are no hidden costs.

The workshops are held in various locations during the year, in-person and online.
