Aims
The paper explains the basis of the ACE framework used in Scotland to support the internationalisation of businesses. The framework was developed in Scottish Enterprise and has subsequently been adopted into the Scottish Government ‘Scotland: a trading nation’ strategy document.
Methods
Review of academic and operational literature and explanation of the derivation of the framework.
Findings
The framework is already in operation and its impact will be assessed via future evaluations.
