Information requested
To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-03736 on 31 October 2016, whether it will provide the information for 2020-21, also broken down by what information it has regarding which companies received funding; how much they received, and the purpose of their award.
In addition to the above, I would like to also request a copy of the most recent human rights compliance checks conducted for the companies included in the response.
For clarity, the previous question S5W-03736 referred to was: To ask the Scottish Government what public funds that it has responsibility for have supported development, manufacture, or marketing in the arms trade in each of the last 10 years.
Response
As we have previously stated, Scottish Enterprise does not provide funding for the manufacture of munitions. The information requested for 2020/21 is provided in the table below:

Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD)
Copies of HRDD checks for Babcock International, Marine and Technology Division, Chemring Energetics UK Limited, Leonardo MW Ltd and Thales UK Ltd were provided under a previous FOISA request, and are the most recent checks conducted. No HRDD check has been undertaken for James Fisher Defence Ltd.
