From crafting compelling content to diving into digital marketing strategies and analytics, this placement offers you a front-row seat to the fast-paced world of marketing and communications. You won’t just be shadowing – you’ll be doing. You’ll work with a supportive team, build on your experience, and gain insights that go far beyond the classroom.

The role

This 12-week marketing placement offers hands-on experience across brand development, digital marketing, content creation, and analytics, providing an opportunity to build skills in business-to-business marketing across domestic and international audiences.

The role will:

  • Contribute to campaigns across web, social media, and email
  • Gain insights from analytics and audience research
  • Explore influencer engagement strategies

By the end of the placement, candidates will have developed a strong foundation in modern marketing practices and made a tangible impact on brand visibility and audience engagement.

  • Analytics and reporting
  • Influencer and brand research

Who we're looking for

This programme welcomes applications from undergraduates who are in the early stages of their degree studies.  

We're looking for a candidate who is creative and proactive, can work collaboratively in a busy team environment, and can adapt and flex to new information and opportunities.

As a minimum, we're looking for an undergraduate in a marketing or business degree who can demonstrate the following skills:

  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Digital literacy across social, web, and email
  • Analytical thinking, with an ability to interpret data
  • The creation and curation of content aligned to our brand tone of voice
  • Research and presenting findings clearly
  • Education to SCQF Level 6

Ideally, but not essentially, you’ll also have:

  • SEO awareness – and an understanding of how websites work and the basics of keyword optimisation
  • Knowledge of business-to-business marketing best practice
