Regional Innovation Valley projects

Scotland is a Regional Innovation Valley (RIV). This means we get funding to work with other RIVs and solve specific challenges across Europe. Learn about the projects we're involved in.

The Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs) initiative provides funding for European regions to tackle social challenges with cutting-edge technology.

Scotland is the only UK country to have succeeded in this first funding round. It's also one of only two RIVs to be funded for multiple projects.
