The City of Glasgow College hosts the IPHatch® UK competition, which enables the growth of start-ups in key economic sectors including digital healthcare, fintech, sustainable energy, data analytics, and smart logistics. It also focuses on artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality (AI, AR, and VR). 

IPHatch® UK is an Open Innovation competition for entrepreneurs and emerging start-ups looking for access to sustainable technologies from multinational corporations. It can enable expansion through its market insight, mentoring offering, and incubation and accelerator programmes.
