Scottish EDGE

Scottish EDGE is Scotland's biggest business funding competition. It offers grants and loans from £10,000 to £100,000 to help businesses, social enterprises, and charities grow. Applicants must be at the pre-trading stage or within their first five years of trading.

The competition runs twice a year, helping around 40 winners in each round with a budget of £1.5 million.  Applicants can be from any sector but must have a strong value proposition and be keen to grow their business and create jobs in Scotland. In addition to financial support, winners receive feedback on their application, access to relationship management, a package of business support, and invitations to peer-to-peer networking events.

To date, Scottish EDGE has supported more than 600 businesses covering the length and breadth of Scotland with more than £25 million in grants and loans.
