About the programme
The Net Zero Academy is a set of fully-funded workshops for businesses looking to develop their Net Zero Action Plan and measure their emissions.
The next two cohorts will be held in person in Glasgow and Dundee from April 2025.
There are up to 16 places available in either location. You'll be expected to participate in all workshops over a period of three weeks.
Eligible businesses must have ten or more employees and currently require support with the above.
The Net Zero Academy is Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) accredited. This means that you'll be able to claim accredited Continued Professional Development on successful completion of the assessment after the last workshop.
What will it cover?
Over three half-day workshops, designed by our sustainability specialists, you’ll learn how to:
- Explain why a net zero transition is necessary
- Understand and describe scope one, two and, three emissions and what these are at each level
- Undertake a baseline review of emissions
- Understand how to develop a net zero action plan and set SMART objectives
Further details
The Net Zero Academy is for those responsible for sustainability in their business. Each participating business must have no more than two delegates in attendance, and must attend all three half-day sessions.
The workshops will be held in Glasgow or Dundee on:
- Tuesday 29 April, 9am to 1pm
- Tuesday 6 May, 9am to 1pm
- Wednesday 14 May, 9am to 1pm
